Istanbul Cooking School

Our group had a wonderful time at this class with Oguz. We started with a market tour that included buying fresh filo and Turkish delight, going to a spice market, a pickle store and more, and we ended up going back to several of the shops. The class itself was a good mix of explanation and hands-on work. In addition to the dishes we made, we learned so much about Turkish culture and customs. Oguz is a wonderful teacher and host and he even made a reservation for us at a restaurant that didn't seem to have any openings.

Amazing cooking experience. Oz has a great communication talent. You can feel his passion about food and cooking, and also his knowledge about Turkish culinary history. We strongly recommend it if you also share his passion and want to learn about Turkish cuisine.

This was our favourite activity we did on our trip to Istanbul. Oguz was so informative and really has a passion for cooking and teaching about Turkish food and culture. We did a short walking tour of the market area and he introduced us to Turkish street food. His cooking studio was very clean and well appointed. We loved the dishes we made and will definitely try to recreate at home. Highly recommend this class if you are considering a cooking class in Istanbul!

It has been an amazing time with Oguz. We had a couple guided tours in Istanbul and we learnt more with him during the market buying time than other ones. He shows passion on culinary culture and he let you immerse on the Turkey street food trying many things during the walk. Really 100% recommended
