Bearing the name of UAE president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyn, Khalifa International Bowling Centre lives up to high expectations. Purpose built for the 1999 FIQ 14th World Bowling Championships, recent renovations and updates have ensured it remains a bustling sports centre that is enjoyed by all. Featuring 40 Brunswick lanes, bowling becomes accessible to everyone, from beginners who require automatic bumpers or ball ramps to professional bowlers, including the UAE National Bowling Team and those who will join the World Bowling Championships in 2014 and 2015. Enhanced by 13 billiards tables, six table tennis tables, a video arcade, three restaurants and two pro-shops, Khalifa International Bowling Centre is truly a destination for sport enthusiasts. In addition to walk-in availability, memberships are on offer for avid bowlers. Likewise, leagues and tournaments are happening nearly every week.
