Turkey Tours by Local Guides

My wife and I had booked a 7 day tour of Turkey with Fez Travel of Istanbul. Genghis Khan -no joke- was our tour guide and Elyas our driver. Genghis was knowledgeable, thorough, accommodating and he ensured that we enjoyed the tour. The hot air balloon ride was the high point. Exploring the cave houses was extremely interesting-we learnt how the residents survived over two thousand years. Genghis had the history of Turkey at his fingertips. Elyas was a very safe, careful and helpful driver. The other tourists though strangers were extremely pleasant.

Of the 16 excursions we had on our 21-day cruise he was the best. We covered a lot of distance but he was not too fast for us. It was a fun day we'll always remember! Highly recommend.

Neslihan Akin is a very professional guide. She speaks english fluently, very easy to understand her. She knowledge is wide and she shares it very clearly. Neslihan is a very kind woman and it was very pleasant to have her guidance for ywo days. We highly recommend her.

In the last 3 weeks I spend time with an awesome tour guide in Ephesus Tugrul Sokmen. Tugrul is an expert tour guide with amazing knowledge of Turkish history that covers the entire country. He took me everywhere I wanted to see & his description of these ancient sights were comprehensive. Tugrul has a great sense of humor making my days with him fun & informative. His choices of where to have meals were places that I could have never found on my own. He took me to a village that had incredible organic, home grown products prepared by an amazing chef. I could never get this food in a restaurant. He showed me the way Turkish life was many years ago that is still practiced today. I would not choose anyone but Tugrul as a personal tour guide. You will never be disappointed!!! :)

Very nice country with multiple tourist spots. You can spend a week or ten days enjoying various cities
